Repair Works Underway on Arcadia Waterfront in Odessa
In Odessa, repairs of the damaged wooden flooring on the Arcadia waterfront have begun. The repair works started after the winter storms, which caused significant damage to this popular beach area.
Work in Progress
According to information from the Dumska correspondent, a team of twenty workers is currently working on the site, engaged in dismantling the old planks. It turned out that the winter storms washed away the concrete base, resulting in large holes under the wooden covering.
Improving Accessibility
Previously, cyclists and electric scooter users had repeatedly complained that this section of the Health Track had become impassable. The sea water seriously damaged the tile covering, making movement difficult.
Completion Expected Soon
The head of the work group announced that it is planned to replace about 700 square meters of wooden flooring, which is approximately 80 meters of the waterfront. It is expected that all repair works will be completed within two weeks.
