Investigation underway after motorcyclist injured in Shepetivka accident
In Shepetivka, law enforcement officers are investigating an accident in which a motorcyclist was injured. The incident occurred yesterday, July 9, around 18:40 at the intersection of P’yaskorskyi and Starokostiantynivske Highway.
The collision involved a Kawasaki R6 motorcycle and a Ford Fusion car driven by a 26-year-old local resident.
As a result of the accident, the 34-year-old motorcyclist sustained injuries and was taken to the trauma department of the Shepetivka Multidisciplinary Hospital, according to the communication sector of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the region.
A criminal case has been initiated under Part 1 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Violation of traffic safety rules or operation of vehicles), and the incident is being investigated to establish all the circumstances.
